I didn't set out to work in business transformation.
I set out to be the best finance leader I could be. That path took me through the rigour of reporting that leadership relied on, financial decisions that shaped where the business could go, and the quiet weight of being the person everyone looked to when the numbers had to be right.
Somewhere along the way, it took me through ERP. Not as the expert brought in to deliver it - as the client. The one who had to live with a system long after the consultants had moved on. The one accountable for the outcome, not just the go-live.
That seat became the most valuable education of my career. It taught me something no certification could: real success isn't measured at go-live - it's measured months later, in whether the system still serves the business and the people who depend on it every day. It's the reason I work the way I do, and the standard I hold every engagement to.
I've sat in the client's seat, and I've led the delivery from the other side. It's why I don't just implement a system - I stand behind the outcome, the way I'd have wanted someone to stand behind mine.
Today I bring that to every engagement as a CPA, a former CFO, and a business transformation partner. I've led implementations hands-on across platforms like Oracle NetSuite and Pronto Xi. And I've sat at the helm as product owner on major transformations - including a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central rollout and an integrated Grants Management implementation - in businesses where getting it wrong wasn't an option.
But what drives me isn't the platform or the project plan. It's the moment the people who live and breathe the system every day look at it and think - finally, this works the way we do.
That moment is why I built Flexpro Solutions. It's what I work toward, every single time.
